CF_PayPal_IPN is a coldfusion PayPal plug and play piece of code which will enable you to track commercial transactions on your web site. Using PayPal's API you can easily take advantage of PayPal's Instant Payment Notification. When a user purchases something on your web site through PayPal, your database will be updated noting that the transaction was completed. When this occurs your user can receive a personalized message from you regarding time frame for delivery, what steps are needed next, or just a thank you for doing business with us.
CF_PayPal Lite- Log in to your Business or Premier PayPal account
- click on the PROFILE subtab
- click on the INSTANT PAYMENT NOTIFICATION PREFERENCES link in the SELLING PREFERENCES column
- click EDIT
- click the checkbox and enter the url at which you would like to receive your IPN notifications

- Purchase this code through the link at the bottom of this page
- Change a few lines of code noting your email address, personal email subject and message to your purchasers and you are ready to start receiving instant notification when something is purchased through PayPal.
CF_PayPal PlusThe coldfusion PayPal plus version of this code includes the pages needed to make maintaining the add on possible without changing any of the coldfusion code. This is the same base code that is in the CF_PayPal Lite.

CF_PayPal ProThe coldfusion PayPal Pro version of this code includes the pages needed to make maintaining the add on possible without changing any of the coldfusion code. This is the same base code that is in the CF_PayPal Plus. The following admin pages are included: - Add/Edit Country list
- Add/Edit State list
- Allow the use of discount codes for purchases or select periods of time or for specific clients
- Add/Edit your inventory list. This page ties into the information that is sent back from PayPal and allows you to track sales across items and without manual tracking
- Add/Edit orders passed from PayPal. This allows you the ability to add orders that come in from other resources other than PayPal. Further it allows you the ability to modify the transactions as well as make them inactive
- Add/Edit item categories - this will be enhanced later to allow searching by categories
- List monthly sales and generate on the fly pie charts of sales per month and sales per item
- Add/Edit admin menu items. If you ever need to enhance this code the menu system will allow you the ability to integrate new changes into this code
- As mentioned in the PayPal Plus tag, you will have the ability to modify an admin page for default settings instead of the code
- Track IP addresses of those items downloaded. This is an added feature to help prevent keys form being shared among several users. Further, there is a feature in the setup page that allows you to setup downloads based on a period of time or a number of downloads. This feature is great for online subscriptions
